Product Description

The ResMed AirFit™ P10 Complete System for the ResMed AirMini™ is specifically designed for use with the AirMini travel device and is not compatible with any other device. The AirMini™ version of the AirFit P10 has specially designed venting to allow proper moisture collection in the included ResMed HumidX™ waterless humidification cartridges. The Complete System includes one standard HumidX™ and one HumidX Plus waterless humidification cartridge. The standard version is for use in normal or humid climates while the Plus version is for use in dry climates. The AirFit™ P10 Mask Setup Pack for AirMini includes all three sizes of nasal pillows: small, medium, and large. An optional, extra small pillow is available. The setup pack includes the standard blue P10 headgear as well as headgear clips.

Is the ResMed AirFit P10 for AirMini compatible with other CPAP devices?

No, the ResMed AirFit P10 for AirMini has been specifically designed to accommodate the AirMini venting and waterless humidification technology. The ResMed AirFit P10 is, however, available in a version that can be used universally on most CPAP devices except for the AirMini. The AirFit P10 cushions and headgear, however, are the same on both the AirFit P10 for AirMini and the standard AirFit P10.

What is included with The ResMed AirFit P10 for AirMini Complete System?

The AirFit P10 for AirMini includes not only the P10 for AirMini mask but also the complete AirMini P10 Set-up Package which includes the 6’ AirMini tubing, and two HumidX waterless humidification cartridges (one standard and one HumidX Plus).

How does the Harmony HCS mask exchange policy work?

To ensure that you can find the right mask for you, we offer a 60-night return option for all complete mask systems (cushions, frames, and headgear bought separately are excluded). If the mask is not a fit for you, simply contact Harmony HCS within 60 days and request an RMA (return merchandise authorization). Once we receive your returned mask, we will issue a Harmony HCS Store Credit. You will be responsible for return shipping through a shipper of your choice. We do ask that you return the mask in its original packaging or ziplock bag to prevent contamination. Expedited shipping costs are not eligible for refund. What are the different styles of CPAP mask options?

What are best practices for cleaning my mask interface?

It is important to clean your mask interface, tubing and water chamber frequently to eliminate bacteria and germs that can lead to respiratory infections and other complications. While automated cleaning systems like the SoClean and Sleep8 are great products for everyday automated cleaning, you still should regularly clean your mask, tubing and water chamber with a clinical grade disinfectant such as Control III. How frequently you clean your CPAP supplies is a personal choice, but the importance of doing so regularly should not be underestimated.

What's the correct way to fit a mask?

Fitting a mask properly depends a great deal on your position. Facial muscles change when we lie down and relax even further once we’re asleep, so it’s always best to fit the mask while you’re in your sleeping position. Whether you sleep in a bed with no pillows or in a recliner, you should fit your mask in your usual sleeping position. If you experience difficulties in fitting your mask, please refer to your mask user guide for complete fitting instructions or contact a Harmony HCS Sleep Coach at, 800-698-8000.

My mask is leaking. What does this mean?

Mask leak should not be ignored as any type of leak can compromise your ability to maintain positive pressure which is an important aspect of therapy efficacy. Often mask leak is due to an incorrect fit, worn out mask cushion and parts, or a less than ideal mask style choice. Why and how often should I get a new CPAP mask cushion?

It is imperative to replace your mask cushion often to ensure optimal therapy results even when it visibly may not appear to require replacement. Harmony HCS suggests replacing your mask pillow or cushion every 30-days as a best practice. Many of our clients replace their entire mask and start fresh once or twice a year.

Why and how often should I replace my headgear?

CPAP mask headgear and chin straps may become stretched and lose their elasticity, leading to over-tightening and discomfort. They can also trap bacteria from sweat and moisture. Your mask headgear should be replaced every 6 months. Can I buy mask replacement parts and supplies from Harmony HCS?

I normally use a nasal mask. Can I use a full face mask when I have a cold?

Yes. You should remember, though, that every mask has slightly different characteristics, so if you're using a ResMed device, you'll need to change the mask setting on the user menu when you switch masks. Always refer to the mask/devices compatibility test when changing mask settings on your device.

Can a ResMed mask be used with another manufacturer's CPAP device?

In most cases, yes, but if you're using a non-ResMed APAP or bilevel device, you may want to check with the manufacturer to ensure it doesn’t compromise your sleep apnea therapy. The technical specifications of the mask are provided for your clinician or equipment supplier to check that they are compatible with a CPAP or bilevel device. If used outside specification or with incompatible devices, the seal and comfort may not be optimal.
